The meeting of the NPC and CPPCC are a chance for people to put up ideas for public policy change. We highlight some of the more notable ones from this year?s sessions
With the Fourth Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the country's top political advisory body, and National People?s Congress (NPC), now in session, news of what people ?really? want is pouring in, in the form of delegates? proposals.
If these proposals are voted on and realized, that?s another issue, but people get points for trying.
The most headline worthy proposal to hit the CPPCC and NPC floor this week though is the fact that the government is considering relaxing the One-Child Policy.
