Though he lost out to Trent Reznor's soundtrack for "The Social Network" at the Golden Globes, award-winning Indian music composer A.R. Rahman's original score on his second film with Danny Boyle merits a mention.
As does the entire album soundtrack for "127 Hours."
In his film review Rolling Stone's Peter Travers says Rahman's score "drives the movie," and is "triumphant, enthralling...[and] thrillingly alive."
